Time Team

Tony Robinson and the team head to Northern Ireland to investigate one of the most important sites in Anglo-Irish history. On a hill above the city of Dungannon was the stronghold of the powerful O'Neill clan; the same hill was a top secret British Army base for the last 50 years. The significance of the dig is obvious from the first moment the ream see the deserted barracks, the huge communication towers and the armoured gate.
