Planet Ant: Life Inside the Colony

For a month, entomologist Dr George McGavin and leafcutter expert Professor Adam Hart capture every aspect of the life of a colony of Trinidadian leafcutter ants, using time-lapse cameras, microscopes, microphones and radio tracking technology. This unique project reveals the workings of one of the most complex societies in the natural world, as well as how ants solve many of the world's problems.
