Mayday Mayday

A man enjoying a clifftop walk loses his footing and slips 100ft on to the rocks below. Within minutes the Torbay lifeboat team is en route, but on-board medic Alex Rose decides that they cannot evacuate the man safely by boat. In Brighton, gale force winds capsize a racing catamaran off the beach. The boat's mast fills with water and it proves impossible for the crew to right it, so the local lifeboat is called out.
