Inside the Tube: Going Underground

The Central Line is the blood red artery that travels across the heart of London. At 46 miles (including its branches), it is the longest of all tube lines, connecting east with west and transporting 260m passengers a year. It is also the busiest train line in Britain, under or over ground. But as Rob discovers, it is a line constantly battling its Victorian legacy.
