The Trail to Hope Rose (2004)

Newly released from prison, a half-Indian outlaw is determined to go straight by taking a rock-mining job in a town run by the Drigger family, headed by patriarch Samuel Drigger. However, he realises the work is little more than slavery and those that complain meet an `accident'. Biding his time, he waits for the right moment to seek justice, helped by the town's honest but ineffectual sheriff and a local farmer.
