Exodus (1960)

A chronicle of Palestine's fight for independence in 1947 and beyond. The story focuses on a moderate Israeli resistance leader and embraces his love for a non-Jewish army nurse, his differences with the extremist Irgun factions and his struggle to emancipate hundreds of survivors of Nazi concentration camps trapped on the Exodus, a vessel blockaded in a Cypriot harbour by British warships.
