Rising Sun (1993)

An LA cop teams up with an enigmatic detective to find the killer of a young woman in the US offices of a Japanese corporation. As the case progresses, the cop begins to suspect that his colleague, appointed to guide him through the complexities of Japanese etiquette and ritual, is secretly working for the Japanese themselves.
