Against the Odds

Gerwyn Price has always been deadly accurate with his throwing arm. As a semi-professional rugby player for Cross Keys in the Welsh League he played hooker and could land the ball on a sixpence from the lineout. In 2014, Price made the bold decision for a Welshman to turn his back on the National game and chance his arm with another sport. Amazingly, just seven year later at the Alexandra Palace, Price in his new incarnation as 'The Iceman' was crowned the World Champion of Darts.
