Baby Boom (1987)

A high-flying executive has an apartment and a boyfriend to match but finds herself left with a baby in a distant relative's will and rather than give the infant up, takes her in. Soon, her boyfriend leaves her and she loses her job. She then starts a new life in Vermont where a local vet soon takes a marked interest in her.
