Crack-Up (1946)

A stylish thriller about an art expert who collapses during the demonstration at an art museum of his revolutionary new technique to expose art forgeries. In fact he has been drugged because he is on the verge of discovering an elaborate plot to spirit away the masterpieces in the museum and replace them with fakes. He goes after the evil, elitist art collector behind the plot.
