Shooting the War

This part is about the experience of children during the war, seen through the films of them shot by parents, friends and teachers, which capture the novelty of war but also the reality of death and loss. Eric Powell filmed the arrival of young evacuee Marion as she became part of his family, while Rainer and Wolfgang Fritz recall how their father filmed the building of the community air raid shelter.
