The sleuthing coroner rubs shoulders with the rich and famous when he investigates the apparently natural death of a society hostess. Quincy becomes suspicious when he finds out that her remains were claimed for cremation before an autopsy could take place, and that she was about to publish a book exposing some embarrassing jet-set scandals.
