Roxanne (1987)

Update of the `Cyrano de Bergerac' story about a long-nosed fire chief who falls in love with a beautiful astronomer. The chief is too ashamed of his appearance to make advances himself but is drawn into assisting his rival, a dull but handsome visiting fireman, from behind the scenes as his chances of love are hampered by his lack of confidence.
