Time Team

The team visit Westminster Abbey, where visitors marvel at the royal paraphernalia and the majesty of the architecture, and which has stood at the heart of the nation for nearly 1,000 years. For the first time in 100 years, the Cosmati pavement is being revealed: a mystical and huge mosaic floor in front of the altar, at the centre of which the Coronation Chair is placed, and usually permanently covered by carpet.
