Me and My Dog: The Ultimate Contest

Eight dog owners and their canine companions compete in a series of mental and physical challenges that are designed to measure the bond between humans and their pets. Set in the idyllic surroundings of the Lake District, the pairs of contestants partake in activities such as a tethered bike test and a paddle-boarding exercise. With a broad range of dogs featuring in the show, including a border terrier and a labrador, presenter Chris Packham also studies the psychology and science behind particular instances of canine behaviour.
