The Rookie (2002)

Film based on a true life story about a 35-year-old coach, who dropped out of minor league baseball 12 years earlier because of an injury, and has been coaching high school baseball since. His team's surprise success means he must honour a promise to try out as a pitcher for a professional team, with inspiring results.
