Stephen King's Thinner (1996)

A fat lawyer who inadvertently discovers the ideal weight loss programme when he knocks down and kills a gypsy woman. A short time later he is accosted by an old gypsy master who touches the lawyer's cheek and says, `Thinner' From that moment on the weight literally falls off him which is great - at first - but will he be able to stop before he literally wastes away?
