Mercury Rising (1998)

Centring on the relationship between an FBI agent and the boy in his care. When an autistic child cracks a secret code, the agent is drafted in to protect him from evil government forces, who view killing the boy as an easier option than changing the code. Between dodging bullets and amassing cuts and bruises, a poignant bond develops between the two.
