Borrowed Hearts (1997)

Tearjerker about a hard-hearted factory boss who pays one of his female workers to pretend to be his wife in order to impress an investor. The woman is in need of the money to support herself and her daughter, and willingly goes along with the scheme, but neither one is prepared for the events that follow.
