Episode 14. How to Make a Killing Without Really Trying. Jessica investigates a murder in the world of high finance when her stockbrocker is killed. Her list of suspects appears to be endless, including the secretary who seems to have been doing all of the broker's work.

A vicar stands accused of sexual harassment but as a result of Kavanagh's patient investigations the widow who lodged the complaint suddenly finds herself accused of murdering her former husband - and the prosecuting counsel is none other than Eleanor Harker. Episode 1 of 8. The Adventure of the Egyptian Tomb. An archaeologist dies of a heart attack shortly after smashing the seal of an ancient Egyptian tomb, raising the spectre of the mummy's curse. The grieving widow summons the Belgian sleuth to unravel the mystery, but he can only smoke out the real villain by risking his own life. David Suchet stars, with Anna Cropper and Bill Bailey.

Episode 3 of 12. No Room for Ravers. A routine visit turns into a nightmare for Jill when she is taken hostage by a psychologically damaged ex-prisoner of war, who has barricaded himself into his house and booby-trapped the surrounding land with mines. Meanwhile, Harper is spotted paying frequent visits to a woman in town and Alun is suspended from duty when his noisy band practice causes a woman to slip and break her hip. Medical drama, starring Robert Daws, Amy Robbins, Wendy Craig, Ian Carmichael, Michael Starke, John Axon and Andy Wear.

Episode 4 of 12. The Rose Queen. Dr Weatherill is involved in an air rescue to save an unconscious girl and finds herself braving a cliff abseil to reach the youngster. Dr Ormerod faces a difficult time when he misdiagnoses a patient who is left fighting for life in hospital. Sister Brigid has an accident on her bike, while Harper faces a staff revolt. Medical drama, starring Amy Robbins, Robert Daws, Linda Armstrong and John Axon.

Episode 4 of 8. Cutting the Mustard. Crabbe and PC Guthrie go back to school to investigate the possession of Ecstasy tablets and the beating of a police chief's son, and it is not long before Freddy Fisher finds himself under close scrutiny. Richard Griffiths stars.

Northanger Abbey
Adaptation of Jane Austen's gothic satire, starring Felicity Jones as heroine Catherine Morland. The naive clergyman's daughter is taken by her father's friends Mr and Mrs Allen to make her debut in the intriguing world of Bath society - but her wealthy companions make others believe she is an heiress in her own right. Carey Mulligan, Sylvestra Le Touzel and Liam Cunningham also star.
Agatha Christie's Marple
Episode 1 of 4. Sleeping Murder. Mystery, starring Geraldine McEwan as the genteel sleuth. A woman experiences an unsettling vision after moving into the home of her dreams - and it transpires she lived in the house as a child. Miss Marple investigates the history of the property and discovers it was connected with a baffling disappearance years before - which has never been solved. With Dawn French, Russ Abbot, Geraldine Chaplin, Phil Davis and Sarah Parish.
Doc Martin
Episode 6 of 7. Nowt So Queer. News of Martin and Louisa's engagement spreads rapidly through the village, and Aunt Joan is annoyed to hear about it from Dave rather than her nephew. Al steps in to help as Bert struggles to keep the restaurant afloat, while the doctor is puzzled when he learns Beth's knee replacement wound is failing to respond to the medication he prescribed.
