The Dam Busters

War (1954). The story of the destruction of the major dams in Germany's industrial heartland in the Ruhr valley in 1943, a mission that seemed impossible until engineer and scientist Barnes Wallis came up with the ingenious idea of bouncing bombs, and the pilots of 617 Squadron were trained to fly the crucial mission. Second World War drama, with Michael Redgrave, Richard Todd, Basil Sydney, Derek Farr and Ursula Jeans.

Last of the Dambusters: Revealed

Episode 1. Former RAF bomb aimer and one of only two surviving dambusters George 'Johnny' Johnson travels to the Sorpe Dam in Germany, scene of his most memorable World War Two mission, to see how the area has changed since the raid in May 1943. He also meets people from the surrounding villages and learns more of the devastation caused by other attacks such as the one on nearby Moehne Dam.

Episode 19 of 24. Conned. Benson and Stabler are called to the scene when a young man is discovered bludgeoned to death in a storage room at a hotel and a wallet found nearby identifies him as 16-year-old Andrew Hingham. But the teenager contacts his mother while the detectives are questioning her and after rewatching surveillance footage, the pair quickly realise that the real Andrew was with the murder victim in a romantic capacity. They propose that he murdered his boyfriend in a jealous rage - a possibility that becomes more likely with the news that Andrew spent time in a psychiatric ward for schizophrenia.

Once-promising boxer Danny Ford is released from prison after serving time for his involvement in a dog-fighting ring, but he comes back under suspicion when the man whose evidence put him in jail turns up dead, apparently fatally mauled by dogs. The medical examiner reports that there were drugs in the victim's system, while Stevens is unsure that the death was actually a homicide. Guest starring Michael B Jordan (Friday Night Lights) and Ralph Macchio (The Karate Kid).
